Southern Sales Account Manager

Our client is looking for a Sales Account Manager to cover an established Southern-based territory, which has a huge opportunity for development with existing and new clients.

The ideal candidate will be extremely sales driven and be happy to comute to achieve your sales goals which will include overnight stays which will be paid for by the company. You will have the ability to build a strong rapport with new and existing clients and be their main point of contact.

Responsibilities:

* Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
* Create new business relationships with potential clients
* Acquire more business acumen through research and analysis of industry trends and developments
* Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
* In-store merchandising
* Meeting sales targets
* Promoting new and current products and any special deals
* Advising customers about delivery schedules and after-sales service
* Recording orders, sending details to the sales office and supporting the back office
* Participate in trade exhibitions
* Liaise with the finance and service departments as appropriate
