Semi Senior Accountant

An opportunity has arisen for a Semi Senior Accountant to join this developing practice that will enhance your skill set. Working within a supportive team, your role will be to prepare financial accounts and tax computations for companies, partnerships and sole traders
Candidates must be working as a Semi Senior Accountant already and be used to producing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and SME Limited companies. A good level of system knowledge with IRIS, Sage and Quickbooks would be an advantage but not essential. You will need to be able to work within a team but also to be a self-motivated individual. You will work under a qualified Manager who will support, advise and develop your skills.

• Assistance with the preparation of financial statements, from both manual and accounting software-based records for sole traders, partnerships and SME Limited Companies
• Assistance with the preparation of corporation tax computations and returns
• Assistance with the preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Analysis and reconciliation of bank accounts and ledgers from client’s base records
• Dealing with correspondence from HMRC and Companies house
• Assistance with statutory work
• Assistance with audits
• Performance bonus up to 15% of salary
Working hours Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week
