Finance Assistant/ Credit Control Letchworth £23,000 - £25,000
* Dealing with internal queries regarding payments, ensuring clients pay on time and negotiating payment plans
* Meeting cash and debtor day targets
* Chasing payments by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales
* Maintain accurate records
* Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met
* Sending out monthly statements
* Process sales invoices, receipts and payments
* Processing Purchase invoices, expense claims and credit cards
* Completing VAT returns
* Checking bank statements and reconciling
* Assisting with company payroll
* Preparation of schedules and reports
* Other duties as required
You will be able to work quickly and accurately and have excellent attention to detail. You will be good at multi-tasking.
Excellent computer skills - in particular databases and financial software (use of Xero) would be an advantage.
AAT Qualification preferred.
This is a full time role - office hours are 37.5 weekly but there is flexibiity surrounding certain core hours.
